If treating blemishes such as facial and body laxity was difficult…

Non-surgical eye and lip lifting is a growing trend today. In fact, more and more patients are looking for rejuvenated eyes and plump lips but do not want to undergo invasive surgical procedures.
Depending on the part being treated and the goal of contouring, different treatments are available.
What is facial contouring
When we talk about facial contouring, we mean that class of medical-aesthetic treatments that aim to improve our appearance.
The term encompasses within it everything that is classically performed: rejuvenating volumes, relaxing muscles, redefining surfaces, and relieving wrinkles.
To achieve all this, depending on the area chosen, the patient may resort to alternative routes.
Among the areas most prone to facial contouring are undoubtedly the eyes and lips.
Non-surgical eye contouring
Having a youthful, fresh and clear look is the desire of many of us. The passing of the years can play against us because of the appearance of wrinkles, bags, dark circles and laxity.
In all these cases, action can be taken through a non-surgical facelift. Also known as non-surgical “blepharoplasty,” we are talking about a treatment that allows the eyes and eyelids to be improved through small infiltrations.
These, depending on the case, may involve the use of botox or the use of filler.
Botox is very useful when action needs to be taken to invigorate certain areas, such as improving the phenomenon of “crow’s feet.”
In the case of fillers, on the other hand, the main ingredient chosen is hyaluronic acid, which stimulates collagen production in the skin and achieves a natural look. To maintain results over time, several sessions may be necessary.
In addition to filler and Botox solutions, however, it is also possible to achieve eye contouring through different treatments. For example, laser therapy can be used to remove the upper layers of the skin and stimulate the production of new cells that will replace the existing ones. Laser therapy is particularly effective for relieving wrinkles around the eyes.
Alternatively, there are also treatments on the market that use radiofrequency or similar methods, which have the common goal of stimulating collagen production. This leads to a self-induced improvement of the skin that is visible externally after a few sessions
Non-surgical lip lifting
According to a recent survey, the lips represent one of the sexiest areas of our bodies.
Aesthetic medicine has made great strides in this field, and today we have several alternatives to act directly on the lips.
First, we need to consider fillers temporary. These are micro-injections of hyaluronic acid in particular places in the area, such as the border.
The goals here can be of various types: to raise the contour, to get a new shape, to reinvigorate volume, to firm the appearance.
There is also a permanent alternative that relies on injections of silicone. In the latter case, one must carefully assess the risks as the solution is not resorbable and also silicone is not approved by major agencies such as the FDA.
